These Bacchus Cabernet vines were planted in 1972, and add old vine elegance to what is adark, roasty-toasty wine redolent with new barrel scents and accents. Espresso, smoke andcharred wood come out first, but the blueberry, black cherry and deep cassis fruit carries the wine through a long, supple finish. Paul Gregutt

Estas vides Bacchus Cabernet se plantaron en 1972 y añaden elegancia de vides viejas a lo que es un vino oscuro, tostado y con aromas y acentos de barrica nueva. El espresso, el humo y la madera carbonizada salen primero, pero el arándano, la cereza negra y la intensa fruta de cassis aportan al vino un final largo y suave.
