Sagemoor Vineyard Manager Lacey Lybeck Named to Wine Enthusiast’s 40 Under 40 List

For five years, Lacey Lybeck has managed our vineyard operations at Sagemoor, going beyond the the normal responsibilities of most people who have served in that role. She not only stewards some of our state’s oldest vines, she consults on wine making and is respected throughout the industry for knowing exactly what our many partners need to make their best wine year after year.

A few years ago, she joined with Ali Mayfield to start making white wines for Selections by Sagemoor, which is why her name is on every bottle you open. We are beyond lucky to work with her every day.

This week, Lacey received well-deserved recognition, being named to Wine Enthusiast’s 2020 40 Under 40 list.

Lybeck manages around 1,000 acres of Washington’s most prized grapevines and partners with some 100 winemakers, about 10% of the state’s total. Through innovation, dedication and hard work, she makes every wine she touches better.
